I recently started writing songs again and it feels so good to have that creative outlet! It’s been a while since I’ve written songs with lyrics for the ukulele, playing with both hands.
I felt inspired to write a song for each of my Christian affirmations books. First, “Surrounded by God’s Blue Sky” is about rising up, above your pain, to realize that God has made a beautiful world for you to see each day. It’s about getting “unstuck” from the ground and feeling stirred by God’s word so you can testify and shine your light to others.
I have also written a song for my next book in the series, “Surrounded by God’s Painted Sky” which I will release soon, along with the eBook and paperback versions of the book.
